What is the agenda for the weekend?
A:  Although the retreat is scheduled from Friday to Sunday, there are no structured activities on Sunday, May 14th.  Friday night will be informal.  We will enjoy dinner together and have an opportunity to connect over a bonfire.  Saturday will be fully structured and will include a morning workout/yoga session, general sessions, group activities, dinner and an optional evening activity for mothers and daughters. Sunday is Mother’s Day.  There are no prepared events.  You will be on your own to enjoy the resort, explore Brainerd or head home to celebrate the day with others!
Q: When can we arrive at the resort on Friday, May 12th?
A:You may arrive at Cragun’s anytime on Friday May 12th before 6pm.  Arrival can be as early as you want to take full advantage of the pool and amenities.  Guaranteed check-in time is 5pm.  Early check-in may be available if rooms are ready.  If rooms are not ready when you arrive, changing rooms are available.  Registration for The Gratitude Project Retreat will be at a table in the main lobby between 4:00-6:00pm (enjoy the retreat during the day and simply stop by the registration table during this two hour timeslot.)
Q: Upon arrival, where do we check-in for the retreat?
A:  Registration for The Gratitude Project Retreat will be at a table in the main lobby between 4:00-6:00pm (enjoy the retreat during the day and simply stop by the registration table during this two hour timeslot.)
Q: What is the check-out time on Sunday, May 14th?
A:  Cragun’s check-out time is 11am.  Late check-out may be available, confirm on day of check-out.
Q: Is there a room block?
A:  Yes! There is a room block at the resort.  Please follow this link to purchase your Resort Package. (link to come)
Q: What should I wear?
A:  It’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing throughout the weekend.  For Friday, bring appropriate clothing to be outdoors at a bonfire (if it’s raining or extremely windy, we will be indoors).  For Saturday, active wear is preferred during the day as there will be a workout/yoga session in the morning which may occur outdoors (weather and space permitting).  It will be best to wear layers to accommodate changes in temperatures.  There will be a short break after dinner before optional activities begin.  The optional activities will consist of a Dance Party for all attendees – your daughters may find it fun to dress up for the dance – and Wine Time for mothers and older daughters (there will be refreshments available for older daughters under the age of 21.)  If you choose to swim during the weekend, don’t forget your swimsuit.

* Please dress according to the weather.

Q: What are the optional activities on Saturday night?
A:  There are two planned activities for Saturday night after dinner.  There will be a Dance Party and a separate Wine Time for Moms (and older daughters).  Instead of the planned activities, you may choose to simply spend time in your room or swim in the pool.  If you choose to attend the Wine Time, it will be “open house” style.  Feel free to stop by for a little bit or stay long.  While you are at the Wine Time, your younger children will be hosted at the Dance Party. Everyone is welcome at the Dance Party!
Q: What should I bring?
A:  Water bottle, yoga mat, snacks for your hotel room, money for Saturday lunch, clothes and essentials for the weekend.
Q: Will you be serving food?
A:  To best accommodate the size of the group, meals will be buffet style.  Included meals will be Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.  There will be a lunch break on Saturday, but it will be on your own.  You are welcome to bring your own food or eat at a restaurant onsite. It is a good idea to have healthy snacks packed.
What is the age range of the daughters?
A:  Any daughter over the age of seven is welcome to attend.  In 2016, we had daughters up to their mid-30’s attend with their mothers!  If you and your daughter attended either of the last two retreats and your daughter is not yet seven, she will be “grandfathered in.”
Can I share a hotel room with another mother/daughter pair?
A:  Yes! There you can choose to pair up with another mother/daughter group and split the cost of the resort package.  One mother will need to take care of the resort reservation, initial deposit and the logistics of splitting the cost with the other mother at the time of departure.
I am not the biological mother of my niece, but I would like to bring her. Is that okay?
YES! Any “mom” figure is welcome.
I'd like to bring all of my daughters and would love to include their grandmother. Can grandmothers also attend?
A:  Yes! Grandmothers, aunts, cousins (any girl/woman over the age of seven) are all welcome to join in on this unique bonding experience (additional rates apply.)
How long is the early bird pricing?
A:  Early bird pricing is good through December 31st, 2016.  Pricing increases on January 1st, 2017.
