  • For each additional adult or child 13 or over (beyond the included 2 adults per room policy), the additional cost is $15 per person per night + tax
  • For each additional child 12 or under (beyond the 2 included children per room policy), the additional cost is $5 per child per night + tax

Resort Information:

Participants are responsible for making their reservations directly with Cragun’s:

$100 deposit is due at time of reservation, remaining balance due day of departure. Two mothers may share a room with their daughters and split the resort price (ie. for two mothers and two daughters, the price would be $135 per mother + tax.)  In this scenario, one mother would take care of the resort reservation and initial deposit.

Q: When can we arrive at the resort on Friday, May 3rd?

A: Exact arrival and check-in time will be communicated this fall after the agenda is finalized.  For now, please plan on arriving at the resort on Friday, May 3rd, by 2pm.  Check-in will occur at a table in the main lobby.  You may arrive at Cragun’s as early as you want to take full advantage of the pool and amenities.  Simply enjoy the retreat during the day and stop by the registration table at the communicated time. Guaranteed check-in time into your room is 5pm.  Early check-in may be available if rooms are ready.  If rooms are not ready when you arrive, luggage can be left in your car or securely held with front desk.

Q: What is the check-out time on Sunday, May 5th?
A:  Cragun’s check-out time is 11am.  Late check-out may be available, confirm when making your reservation.

Q: Is there a room block?

Q: Will you be serving food?

A: To best accommodate the size of the group, majority of meals will be buffet style. Included meals will be Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, and Sunday breakfast. In addition, it is a good idea to have healthy snacks packed for the weekend. 

What is the agenda for the weekend?

Q: Upon arrival, where do we check-in for the retreat?
A:  Registration for The Gratitude Project Retreat will be at a table in the main lobby.
Q: What should I wear?
A: It’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing throughout the weekend.  Bring appropriate clothing to be outdoors at a bonfire and comfortable active wear during the day. Wear layers to accommodate changes in temperatures.  If you choose to swim during the weekend, don’t forget your swimsuit.

Q: What should I bring?
A:  Water bottle, yoga mat, snacks for your hotel room, clothes and essentials for the weekend.  
What is the age range of the daughters?
A:  Any daughter over the age of seven is welcome to attend. For the past two years, we’ve had daughters up to their mid-30’s attend with their mothers! 
Can I share a hotel room with another mother/daughter pair?
A:  Yes! There you can choose to pair up with another mother/daughter group and split the cost of the resort package.  One mother will need to take care of the resort reservation, initial deposit and the logistics of splitting the cost with the other mother at the time of departure.
I am not the biological mother of important girl in my life, but I would like to bring her. Is that okay?
YES! Any “mom” figure is welcome.
I'd like to bring multiple daughters and would love to include their grandmother. Can grandmothers also attend?
A:  Yes! Grandmothers, aunts, cousins (any girl/woman over the age of seven) are all welcome to join in on this unique bonding experience (additional rates apply.)
I have attended The Gratitude Project in the past, will the content be different than prior years?
Yes!  The goal of the weekend stays consistent – we are focused on love, connection, empowerment, and gratitude, but all of the feedback from the past retreats have been taken into account to create new focuses, activities, and interactive learning experiences.

 

What happens if I purchased a ticket and I am no longer able to attend the retreat?
All tickets are non-refundable.  If you are no longer able to attend, you may give/sell your ticket to someone else but you must manage any payment needed from that individual to cover your cost.  New attendee names must be provided directly to Robyn Deusterman (robyndeustermanllc@gmail.com)

Meet the Gratitude Project Speakers

Robyn Deusterman is a Transformational Life Coach for Women.  She is happily married and has two beautiful daughters.  Robyn is passionate about making a difference in the world, and she is inspiring others through her coaching, workshops and retreats, speaking engagements, personal training, teaching Kundalini Yoga, and sharing her story on http://robyndeusterman.com

Robyn once lived her life as a perfectionist and someone who always had to feel accepted.  She was scared to stand out, scared to use her voice and was stuck in a world dictated by her past.  Through expressing massive courage, bravery and tenacity, Robyn finally shattered her limiting beliefs about herself and her life when she faced her fear of dealing with childhood trauma head-on.  Robyn has since advanced her education, achieved personal healing and growth and created a life aligned with who she really is.

She believes that everyone deserves to live a life they love.  Her mission is to coach women and girls toward embracing who they are and gain the power and confidence to live the life of their dreams – a life free from self-doubt and full of self-love.  Her goal is help others see the potential they have within themselves to live their happiest, healthiest, most grateful lives, without being afraid to take risks or explore life.

Melissa Duncan MSW, LICSW, RPT is a Psychotherapist and Registered Play Therapist specialized in working with children, adults, and families in crisis. Utilizing a holistic perspective, Melissa works to assist her clients in connecting their mind and body to provide a unified understanding of potential barriers to health and well-being.  Melissa has continued to expand her practice by utilizing Yoga Calm in the treatment of children who have experienced trauma, as well as a way to bring families together through touch and shared mindfulness. In addition, she is trained in clinical hypnosis, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Melissa is currently a practicing psychotherapist and Clinical Manager of Behavioral Health Services at Health Partners Inver Grove Heights Clinic.

In her spare time, Melissa is fitness competitor and model as well as the mom to three children.
